The Heart Institute
The Heart Institute at St. Joseph Medical Center includes the largest open-heart surgery and all-digital cardiac catheterization programs in Maryland as well as a range of diagnostic, surgical and therapeutic facilities and services such as a chest pain center, cardiographics, electrophysiology lab, nuclear medicine, cardiac intensive care, hospital-wide monitoring capabilities and cardiovascular fitness programs.
