American Board of Thoracic SurgeryPersonal Information Dr. Linda Martin has joined The Cancer Institute at St. Joseph Medical Center as a thoracic surgeon, coming from Stanford University where she was an Assistant Professor in Cardiothoracic Surgery. She received her undergraduate education at UCLA, and medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. She completed a Masters in Public Health at the University of Texas’s School of Public Health. Dr. Martin completed her surgical residency at the University of California, San Francisco. She was the thoracic surgery chief resident and a clinical research fellow at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Texas Heart Institute. Dr. Martin is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. She has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. |
