The Radiology Department at St. Joseph Medical Center provides physicians with the latest technology to ensure diagnoses are as accurate as possible. Patients have access to state-of-the-art equipment along with specially trained technologists and expert radiologists enabling St. Joseph to offer some of the most advanced diagnoses and minimally invasive treatments available today.

St. Joseph has made updating the technology in Diagnostic Imaging a high priority, which shows in the state-of-the-art imaging capabilities:

  • The GE LightSpeed16 - a CT scanner capable of 16 slices per rotation. The LightSpeed16 integrates state-of-the-art innovations that deliver speed with sub-millimeter resolution and effective dose optimization to push clinical applications to new levels.
  • Interventional Radiology Suite - St. Joseph’s new Interventional Radiology Suite features the Innova® 4100, an all-digital vascular and interventional imaging system. It allows physicians to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions, including vascular and cardiac diseases, cancer and uterine fibroids. The Innova® 4100 provides visualization of the smallest vessels and anatomy with exceptional detail.
  • The LUNAR Bone Densitometer - used for axial measurement of bone density and identifies bone loss at major fracture sites, such as the femur and spine, in just minutes.
