Chemotherapy
The Serpick Infusion Center at St. Joseph Medical Center is an outpatient unit located on the 2nd floor of the Ambulatory Services Building. The center has two minor procedure rooms, a 14-bed infusion area and a GYN room.
The Infusion Center is staffed with Oncology Certified Nurses (OCN) along with certified nursing technicians. The center has extended hours of operation to provide treatment convenient to patients. Please call 410-337-1284 for more information about the Serpick Infusion Center’s hours.
Services include, but are not limited to:
All outpatient chemotherapy
Blood/blood by-product transfusion
IV medications/hydration
Preparation of patients for arteriograms
Recovery of patients after invasive radiologic procedures
Colposcopies
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Procedures include:
Thoracentesis
Lumbar punctures
Paracentesis
Bone marrow biopsies and aspiration
Minor surgical procedures requiring local anesthetic
Administration of injectable medications

IV Medication Administration (Remicade)
Services include oncologic and non-oncologic infusions.
