Orthopaedic Oncology Center

The Cancer Institute and the Orthopaedic Institute at St. Joseph Medical Center have launched a tremendous joint effort. The surgeons of the orthopaedic institute have joined the medical, radiation oncologists at monthly prospective cancer conferences and tumor boards. This will enhance the expertise in spine and orthopaedic surgery, with the implementation of stereotactic radio surgery and brings formal prospective multidisciplinary discussions to the patients at the Cancer Institute.
